Hi, we have a lovely, small and bright room to rent with a large wardrobe/storage space It has a comfortable sofa bed that doesn't need folding out for one person. there is storagespace for bedding inside. There is computer desk and a lamp (please see pictures). Would suit a mature/post-grad student. Looking for a non-smoker, and it's essential to be moving very quietly at night time (neighbours are light sleepers). The house is a house-shoe house. We do have a cat. Rent quoted includes all bills. There is the option to rent the room for five or for seven days:
- 5 days - single room €490
- 7 days - single room €580
Wifi connection is fast. Mod cons include washing machine, cloths dryer, dish washer, microwave, induction hob, space in the fridge & freezer.
Also, it is a cosy house, but sometimes there can be periods of clutter - so a tolerance thereof will be helpful - but also a willlingness to keep common areas clean and to tidy up after yourselve. A little extra note: The bathroom will be shared with another house guest and occasionally ourselves. It is essential that you are willing to shower with the bathroom window open (all year around), in order to avoid mould problems developing ... we do the same. Thank you! Public Transport: Great connection into Galway by train (15min journey). The train station is about 7 min walk. There is also a bus service to the university and to GMIT, leaves less than five minutes walk, daytime and late night at weekends. More info regarding train and bus from

BUS: Bus company Farrells of Athenry runs a weekend nightlink bus service from Eyre Square/Galway City Centre to Athenry/The Arch between 20.30pm and 2.30am - 10 minutes walk to house.
By car, doughiska/Ballybrit area is 15 minutes, to NUIG is 25 minutes. The Dublin Galway Motorway is three minutes drive away.
